Company

A family company
that builds software.

Barakat Labs is young, small, and built for the long run. Here is who we are and how we work.

The name

Barakat means blessings.

It is also the name of an ancestor five generations back, passed from father to son ever since. We named the company after him because we want to build the way he is remembered: something worth handing down.

The founder

An operator, not a programmer.

Adham Barakat works in real estate acquisitions, on the phone with sellers every day. He kept losing time to tools that weren't built for that job, so he started building the ones he needed. OfferDesk was the first.

How we build

An operator decides.
AI builds. We prove it.

01

The decision is human

What to build, for whom, and why comes from the work itself, not from a market report.

02

The code is written by AI

Modern AI writes our software in small, readable changes, fast enough to keep up with the ideas.

03

Nothing ships unchecked

Every change goes through automated tests, a second independent review and security checks before it reaches anyone.

What we won't do

Promise you results.

Software helps you work. The results are yours to earn, and we won't pretend otherwise.

Sell or mine your data.

Your information is used to run the product for you and nothing else.

Ship what we don't use.

If a product doesn't earn its place in our own work, it stays in the lab.

Talk down the competition.

We would rather spend the time making our own work better.
